Southeastern Wisconsin’s Premier Golf Outing for T1D Research

Tee Up Fore the Cure has teamed up with Breakthrough T1D, Children’s Wisconsin, and local celebrities to present Southeastern Wisconsin’s premier golf outing to support T1D research. Each foursome is paired with a local sports/media celebrity to offer a truly unique golf outing experience. Players have the opportunity to interact and hear from special guests throughout the day at our VIP dinner, celebrity breakfast, golf outing and reception. Whether through participation, sponsorship, or donation, your efforts will help find the cure!

2025 Featured Celebrities Bill Castro & Jerry Augustine Bill Castro and Jerry Augustine, both former Milwaukee Brewers pitchers, played pivotal roles in the team’s success during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Castro, a right-handed reliever (1974–1980), also played for the New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals. Augustine, a versatile left-handed pitcher (1975–1984), spent his entire career with the Brewers. Beyond their playing days, both have remained active in baseball, engaging with youth and promoting the sport. Their contributions on and off the field continue to leave a lasting impact on the Brewers and their fans.
